Recently my sister has been going on this crazy phase of hers which is basically watching romance movies and googling hot celebs. Also that phase where she "knows" what true love is. Basically it's when a girl turns 13 and thinks she has a clue about love, boys and relationships. I've been there, and I had to learn the hard way that that wasn't true. It's kind of crazy, I mean who the fuck knows what love stands for. It could basically mean anything, your love towards your family, pet or even an object.

Right now I am just kind of trying not to watch those fucked up romance movies in which the girl ALWAYS gets the guy. It's kind of stupid really, because of what society is implying. It basically sets the girls expectations really high of what a guy is. To be honest I prefer the 80's movies, because the guys always try so hard to get the girl, but now it's like the girl has to change or what not. The classic boombox outside the girl's window always got to me, I don't know why.

My favorite romance would be The Bachelor even if it was made  in the 90's. I find it kind of cute in ways, call me crazy. It doesn't follow the "meet the girl, fall in love, some crazy plot thing happens in which the guy basically becomes awful in the girl's eyes, the girl hates the guy, guy proves himself, gets the girl, the movie ends in both of them kissing" path. Yea, cliche. Oh well, maybe it's just society these days. I don't know. Well this is just my unpopular opinion.

Goodbye.
